E & J
Event, Branding, Print, Paper Crafting
My husband, Ethan, and I got married on September 18, 2020. Due to the pandemic, we had a small intimate ceremony. But that didn’t stop it from being the best day ever. I wanted to create a timeless and minimal brand to reflect our personalities and capture the simplicity of our wedding day.
With the wedding industry filled with trendy hand-lettered calligraphy and all things cursive, I wanted our wedding branding to be unique with a personal touch. The logo mark consists of a san serif ampersand with our initials interlocking, E & J. A clean san serif typeface was used to complement a timeless serif font.
In addition to designing our brand and collateral, I handmade my own floral bouquet, my husband’s boutonnière, and our wedding arch using paper, glue, and wires.
